THIS PILLAR OF ALONENESS

thisĀ  pillar of aloneness:

This pillar of aloneness that is me,
drowning o drowning in a symphony
of tea; gulping but the tepid in
vain, in vain;
and o the strain of fastening
my toes; whichever way the sloot
waxes, my thoughts run; trickling.
then into dense cider milk;
Silk’s ilk.
